As anyone who’s tried to attain it knows, balance can be an elusive state of being.
In previous articles on this subject, we talked about Life Goals, and we also discussed Running a Small Business and the Art of Balance.
Today, I’d like to ask you a question:
What does true balance look like to you?
In other words, if you woke up tomorrow and had attained the perfect balance in your life, what EXACTLY would it be — in specific detail?
I’m asking because the more clearly we can see the reality we’d like to manifest, the better chance we have of actually attaining it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that balance is a destination we arrive at and we’re done. But if we treat it like a goal (which it is, right?) and clearly define what we’re looking for, it’s possible that we can live a life closer to that state of true balance than we’re living now.
Saying “I want a balanced life” simply won’t cut it. It’s too vague. And if you’re not clear on what a balanced life looks like for you, how can you expect the Universe to deliver it?
Next Steps …
- Schedule some time with yourself and sit down with your iPad, computer, notebook — whatever — and start to think about and document what true balance is for you
- Take your time, and work on this until what you have on the page really resonates with you
- Next, read it to your self at least once every day
- Do your best to envision this reality as something that already exists in your life — not something that’s “coming” but something that’s HERE … NOW …
I wish you the best of luck with your quest for balance!
